Suleiman Saad al-Jaradi, a Jew living in Yemen , attacked Israel in an interview published on the Saudi Elaf website, which has close ties to the London-based al-Hayat . “Israelis have no religion, no Torah, and no morals,” he said.

Al-Jaradi lives in a community of 30 Jewish families in Raida, in the Omran province, about 120 km north of the capital of Sanaa. In the interview he talks about the community's way of life, particularly Jewish customs and religious traditions.

Al-Jaradi issued a scathing critique of Israel . “We hate Israel and Zionist because they kill Palestinians,” he said. “Zionists are not Jews. We don't go there, and we don't allow our children to go there.”

He also relates how representatives from Israel and the United States often came in the past to try to convince the community to immigrate to Israel by offering them bribes. “We refused to leave Yemen ,” he says. Al-Jaradi sent his greeting to Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

Al-Jaradi has a son studying in the US . When asked whether his son would travel to Israel after completing his studies, al-Jaradi responded, “Perhaps, I don't know. I told him not to go to Israel , but he's free to do as he likes. The Israelis have no religion, no Torah, no morals, nothing. The daughter is not your daughter and the son is not your son. Everyone can do as he pleases. You cannot impose your will on your son or daughter. This is not religion, a tribe, or morals. It is nothing.”
