Mechanic in al-Salam kills his son because of incontinence
A mechanic killed his five-year-old son, beating him to death and burying him at the Marg cemetery. The suspect was arrested and confessed to his crime, saying he did it because his child was incontinent.
Gen. Farouq Lashin, the director of the Cairo police, received a notice from the al-Salam police department about a mechanic who had buried his young son without a permit.
An investigative team was put together and found that the suspect, Khalil Nabil Ahmed, a 30-year-old mechanic, beat his son Mohammed, age five, because he suffered from incontinence.
The investigation also revealed that he buried the victim in a cemetery owned by his 45-year-old neighbor, after telling his neighbor that the boy died in a traffic accident. A warrant was obtained from the Public Prosecutor’s office and the suspect was arrested.
He confessed to his crime, saying that his son was incontinent and that he had warned him more than once. The day of the incident, he slapped his son in the face and kicked him in the stomach and back, after which the boy fell to the ground unconscious and died.
